This VMG provides routine maintenance on your vehicles based on pre-established mileage intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Your drivers do not need to be maintenance experts with this program. The VMG functions as a Velcor® purchase order, thus reducing your driver's out of pocket cash disbursements, allowing your company to obtain national discounted pricing and controlling your maintenance expenses. All routine maintenance expenses are recorded in the vehicle history file which enables detailed fleet management reporting.
Velcor®'s maintenance consultation program pro-actively controls vehicle expenses before they are incurred. Driver's contact Velcor®'s toll free 800-number to be directed to a national account repair facility or an automotive dealership. Velcor® will authorize maintenance repairs, issue purchase orders for the work performed, apply for warranty goodwill adjustments if necessary and pay for the repair by credit card. Drivers also have access to rental cars when their vehicle is in for repairs and a 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365 days a year emergency roadside assistance program. Again, all maintenance expenses are recorded in the vehicle history file which enables detailed fleet management reporting. Velcor® maintains detailed maintenance history on each vehicle, in order to provide valuable information to you. Through our Fleetworks®, we provide standard reports such as exception reporting, fleet expense summaries, vehicle replacement reports, business versus personal use reporting and fuel management reports. In addition, you can create your own customized reporting through our Fleetworks® as well.
If your company self-insures their collision and comprehensive insurance coverage, Velcor® can assist you in getting your damaged vehicle back to your driver as quickly as possible. We can arrange for towing, repair estimates, purchase order authorization and follow up on the entire repair process. Through our partner Network, Velcor® can assist in subrogation of the repair costs if needed. Ask our sales team for more information about this cost saving program.
